Job summary

Duquesne Light Corporation seeks an Engineer III – Controls to deliver substation control design drawings for capital and maintenance projects, including single lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and related equipment drawings in compliance with applicable standards.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, 3+ years of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license, with PE licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Three (3+) years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer Licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, engineer, and design substation control equipment drawings.
• Ensure conformance with NESC, NEC, ANSI, IEEE, and applicable codes.
• Perform technical studies, prepare reports, and support other engineers on complex studies.
• Act as project manager for assigned projects with guidance from senior engineers.
