Job summary

Gentex is seeking a Controls Engineer II to develop, deploy, and improve Gentex automated manufacturing systems at on-site facilities in the United States. You will design PLC programs, create electrical and pneumatic schematics, assess and specify hardware and software for automation, and collaborate with engineers to standardize solutions across similar equipment.

Qualifications

• 4-year Engineering degree or equivalent controls engineering experience.
• At least 3 years designing, programming or integrating automated equipment.
• Experience with robotics applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Monitor and define areas of improvement for automated equipment.
