Edison Smart is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer based in Virginia to design, develop, and commission industrial automation systems. The role focuses on Ignition SCADA development (Perspective/Vision) and PLC programming with Allen-Bradley Studio 5000.

You will configure SCADA/HMI, manage alarms, monitor real-time processes, and integrate PLCs with Ignition via OPC UA and Modbus/TCP, working with a hands-on, on-site team in VA.

Formación

• Ignition Core or Gold Certified.
• Degree educated.
• Proven experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming (Studio 5000).
• Experience with Ignition SCADA.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and deploy Ignition SCADA applications using Perspective and Vision.
• Develop PLC programmes using Allen Bradley (Studio 5000).
• Configure SCADA systems, including HMI development, alarm management, real-time monitoring and process visualisation.
• Integrate PLCs with Ignition SCADA using OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP and industrial communication protocols.
