Job summary

Easy Automation, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician/Engineer to join our team. The role involves taking projects from sales order through installation, writing PLC and HMI code, and providing phone support during and after hours.

Travel to customer sites (15-25%) is required, with potential for remote or hybrid work after training. The ideal candidate has an electrical background, proficiency in PLC programming, and a relevant two- or four-year degree.

Qualifications

• Electrical background and proficient knowledge of PLC programming.
• Two- or Four-year degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Controls & Robotics, or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain one).
• Willingness to travel to Canada.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with controls team from sales order to installation.
• Write custom PLC and HMI code.
• Troubleshoot customer problems by phone and provide after-hours support.
• Work with development team to create solutions for expanding customer base.
• Develop and enhance complex projects.
• Additional duties as needed.
