We are looking for a Controls Engineer to join our team in Shreveport, LA. This role is within the Hanley Energy US Eastern Region providing project support to the Engineering and Management teams. Minimum availability of 25% travel if needed. International opportunities are a possibility within Hanley Energy.
The Controls Engineer will be working as part of a fast-growing, dynamic team and will play a critical role representing Hanley Energy in our business model. This person will develop systems, communicate with key stakeholders, and take ownership of key products of the controls branch of Hanley Energy. The control engineer will be a leader to fellow employees and work with management to ensure the successful growth of the controls department and Hanley Energy as a whole.
The Controls Engineer will go to customer sites and is a responder for hands‑on equipment troubleshooting and operation. They must successfully communicate with the customer and be an expert on the services that they are providing. Our committed team works as a technical resource to support the full physical infrastructure of their customer’s buildings that store mission‑critical data and equipment. The Controls Engineer will assist the Engineering and Project Management teams to design, develop, deploy, and manage projects. The role is best described as an expert technician with superb leadership, project and time management skills.
