Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced control systems for state-of-the-art automation equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, program PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred), and troubleshoot to keep machinery running at peak performance.

Candidates should hold a BSEE with 0–5 years in controls engineering, possess HMI knowledge, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
• 0-5 years of experience in Controls Engineering and Industrial Automation.
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred).
• Working knowledge of HMI systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Self-motivated with a proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced control systems to meet production and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and develop solutions aligning with company goals.
• Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation of machinery and equipment.
• Test and validate new systems and features to ensure delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support for production teams, offering expert advice on control systems.
• Continuously monitor and analyze system performance, making adjustments and improvements as necessary.
• Ensure all control systems adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
