Job summary

Diversified Services Network in Chillicothe, IL is seeking a full-time Controls Engineer to join our team. You will work on control system development, design and implement complex algorithms, and calibrate engines for performance and emissions across power generation, drilling, and mining sectors.

The role requires a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and at least 1 year of related experience with control systems, MATLAB/Simulink, and testing in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• 1 year post-bachelor's experience or education in electrical engineering with control systems knowledge and MATLAB/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and implement complex control algorithms to improve performance, efficiency and emissions of large engines used in power generation, drilling, mining, etc.
• Create and follow electrical design schedules from concept to system completion.
• Test, evaluate, modify and calibrate products and instruments.
• Perform rigorous HIL testing to validate control strategies in simulated environments.
• Conduct engine calibration and data analysis comparing test data with simulations.
