Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Controls Engineer to join our team in Chillicothe, IL. You will contribute to control system development for large engines used in power generation and related industries.

Responsibilities include designing, testing, calibrating control algorithms, and conducting HIL simulations to validate performance before deployment. Requirements: a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and experience with Matlab/Simulink.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field plus 1 year of post-bachelor’s experience or education with control systems and Matlab/Simulink.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement complex control algorithms for large engines.
Assist with electrical design scheduling from concept to completion.
Test, evaluate, modify, and calibrate products and instruments.

Job Requirements

Work on control system development including design, develop, and implement complex control algorithms to enhance the performance, efficiency and emissions of large engines used in power generation, drilling, mining etc.
Assist with creating and following electrical design schedule, from specification concept to system up completion, while keeping to an overall project schedule.
Test, evaluate, modify and calibrate products and instruments.
Conduct rigorous HIL testing to validate control strategies and algorithms in a simulated environment, ensuring safety and reliability of engine control systems before deployment on the real-world engines.
Perform engine calibration and data analysis to test data and simulation results.
Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field plus "1 year of post-bachelor's experience or education in electrical engineering including some coursework or experience with control systems and use of Matlab and Simulink.
