Barry-Wehmiller is seeking a Controls Engineer to support data center projects in Atlanta, coordinating the deployment of control systems, networking, and integrated technology. You will configure hardware, validate system functionality, and assist commissioning activities on site.

The role requires hands-on work, strong communication, and the ability to work within large teams across projects. A related engineering degree and willingness to relocate for at least one year are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support deployment of greenfield data centers; include BMS/EPMS scopes.
  • Receive and deploy applications from design team to each site.
  • Configure equipment communication protocols (switchgear, breakers, meters).
  • Configure and calibrate instruments (meters, VFDs, flow meters).
  • Deploy and commission Ignition, Rockwell controls, and similar PLC/SCADA systems.
  • Provide on-site guidance to subcontractors and lead site teams.
