Jobot is seeking a Building Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced BAS that optimize building performance across HVAC, lighting, energy management, and other integrated systems.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, hands-on BAS experience with Niagara, Siemens, JCI or Honeywell, and strong programming and networking skills. This on-site Virginia Beach role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical systems.
• Experience with BAS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or similar.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, TCP/IP).
• Proficiency in programming languages used in automation (e.g., Java, Python, or system‑specific languages).
• Familiarity with schematics, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Understanding of construction site safety requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including diagrams, software configurations, and user manuals.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Diagnose defects in systems, components, and devices.
• Perform commissioning and Test & Balance measurements.
• Assist with project turnover to service providers.
• Work from floor plans, blueprints, specifications, and schematics.

Position: Building Automation Engineer
