Avancez LLC in Lansing, MI is seeking a qualified Controls Engineer for 3rd shift to maintain, develop and improve automation controls systems and boost productivity. Strong programming and troubleshooting across Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms are required.

Responsibilities include PLC programming, HMI performance, equipment uptime, safety compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of industry experience with related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review and input data into PLC log.
• Programming of PLC/automation systems.
• HCMS and HMI performance improvements.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments.
• Maintain and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Identify and implement error-proofing in production processes.
• Ensure safety and stay compliant with required training.
