Job summary

PEG Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with an established industrial equipment manufacturer to recruit a Controls Engineer. You will lead projects from concept to build, testing, and implementation, designing automation solutions for industrial equipment.

You'll program and troubleshoot Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs, work with Fanuc robotics, and create CAD models. This role offers growth across controls, electrical, and mechanical design in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience designing and developing equipment or systems from cradle to grave.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley controls.
• Experience with Fanuc robotics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial equipment and automation solutions from concept through completion.
• Program and troubleshoot Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
• Work with Fanuc robotics and other automation technologies.
• Create and modify engineering designs and CAD models.
• Build, test, troubleshoot, and improve equipment.
• Work closely with manufacturing and other engineering teams to bring designs into production.
• Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
