What will you do?

In this position you will join our Singapore Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:

  • Lead project control design, execution, testing and commissioning.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to develop controls system strategies, designs and specifications.
  • Conduct technical reviews of specialist contractors’ documentation submissions including points lists, network architecture schematics, controller wiring diagrams, control cabinet drawings, functional descriptions (FDs) / scope of operations (SOO), and HMI graphics.
  • Design detailed control systems incorporating PLC/SCADA/DCS platforms.
  • Develop technical solutions for client requirements and prepare technical and fee proposals for tenders.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Information and Communications Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years’ post graduate experience across all project development phases, from concept and detailed design to site commissioning.
  • Strong background in all aspects of Building Management System (BMS), including DDC, PLC control design and project delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC Control Applications, Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Management Systems.
  • Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, ELV systems and IP networking.
  • Experienced in IoT, cybersecurity and cloud platforms.
  • Experience working on various device interfaces such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP & RTU, MQTT, BACnet/IP & MSTP etc.
  • Proficient in networking systems, including physical/virtual servers, network switches (CISCO and MOXA), fibre and copper cabling etc.
  • Experience with Safety in Design practices, risk assessment, project engineering, planning, and proposal preparation.
