Job summary

Averro is seeking a Project Engineer to design complex electro-mechanical systems for specialized industrial material handling applications in Tukwila, WA. You will program PLC and HMI systems, create electrical schematics, and support customers through all project phases.

The role requires a bachelor’s in electrical engineering or equivalent experience with at least seven years in the field, especially PLC/HMI and Siemens experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering with strong PLC/HMI programming background; Siemens highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of electro-mechanical design principles, industrial electronics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design complex electro-mechanical systems for specialized industrial material handling applications.
• Program PLC and HMI systems, and design/debug low-voltage, high-power electrical systems.
• Create electrical and controls schematics, documentation, and provide technical support to customers.
• Function as Project Engineer through all phases of custom equipment development from concept through delivery.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Quality to ensure cost-effective, safe, and profitable solutions.
