If you are looking for a position that offers deep technical challenges, international travel, and the chance to work with world-class automation technology, we want to hear from you!

  • You will program, build, and validate sophisticated control systems incorporating pneumatics, servos, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and HMI touchscreens to meet rigorous technical standards.
  • You will lead the setup and startup of advanced machinery both in-house at our US and Austria facilities and at customer sites worldwide, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
  • Beyond basic functionality, you will focus on process excellence by continually refining machines and systems to ensure peak operational efficiency and long-term reliability.
  • You will create clear specifications and comprehensive technical documentation that serve as the essential blueprint for project success and team alignment.
  • You will provide expert after-sales support and deliver high-level technical training, empowering our global clients to succeed through expert guidance and partnership.
Your profile
  • You hold a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related ABET-accredited field, providing the theoretical core for our complex control systems.
  • Ideally possessing 2-4 years of hands-on experience, you will utilize PLCs and HMI/OIT to drive sophisticated process control and industrial automation solutions.
  • You are energized by the prospect of international travel, including extensive technical training at our STIWA Group headquarters in Austria and global project execution across the USA, Mexico, Canada, and Brazil.
  • You bring excellent communication skills and a natural inclination for responsibility, working seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating the potential to grow into future leadership roles.
  • Please note: We are strictly focusing on candidates currently residing within the U.S., and we are not offering visa sponsorships for this position at this time.
Our offer
  • A challenging and responsible position in a high-tech company with an international background.
  • We provide a competitive compensation package between $27.00 - $32.00 / hr- with higher potential for experienced professionals complemented by full health benefits effective after a 2-month probation.
  • You will benefit from generous paid time off and clear career development pathways, designed to support continuous skill expansion and progression into future leadership roles.
  • Based at our Rock Hill, SC site with a Monday-Friday schedule, you will maintain a professional home base while remaining available for travel during critical machine commissioning phases.
