Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Controls Engineer for an in-office role in Riverside, MO. The position focuses on automation, machine design and controls engineering with potential for advancement.

You will design control panels, develop electrical schematics, create control logic, program PLCs (Allen Bradley), and design HMIs while supporting updates to controls standards. A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of controls engineering experience in areas such as automation or machine design.
• Hands-on PLC programming with Allen Bradley required.
• Experience with schematic and hardware design.
• Ability to understand basic controls principles and terminology.

Venteon is currently seeking a Controls Engineer to fill an opening with a company located in Riverside, MO.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Designing and developing control panels and manufacturing equipment.

WHAT IS REQUIRED

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in controls engineering, including areas such as material handling, automation, machine design, or complex data collection.
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming and development (Allen Bradley).
• Experience with schematic and hardware design.
• Working knowledge sufficient to understand basic principles and terminology and to solve simple problems in controls engineering.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor s degree in a related field.
• Experience with RS Logix 5000, RS View, PanelBuilder, Robotics Fanuc, AutoCAD, Ethernet IP, or EPLAN.
