We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Permanent Controls Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex control systems and components for our cutting-edge engineering projects. This role involves working closely with other engineers and professionals in a collaborative environment to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and productivity. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for problem-solving, and a deep understanding of control systems, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems to meet project requirements and enhance system functionality.
• Program PLCs, primarily using Allen Bradley PLC's, to ensure seamless automation of processes.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative automation systems and solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation.
• Maintain and upgrade existing control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular system tests and inspections to verify system operations and safety.
• Develop detailed documentation for control systems design, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team and stakeholders on control systems and automation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements in control systems and automation.
• Ensure all control systems adhere to established standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
• Extensive experience with PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley PLC's.
• Proficiency in control systems design and electrical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with automation and web converting.
• Strong knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional technical and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
