Job summary

Jobot, an OEM manufacturer, is seeking a Controls and Automation Engineer in Tennessee. The role focuses on PLC programming, HMI setup, validation/testing, FAT/SAT support, and field assistance in Knoxville.

It requires a BS/AS in Electrical or Mechatronics or equivalent experience, plus at least one year of Allen Bradley PLC programming. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and life insurance.

• Minimum 1 year of PLC programming in Allen Bradley.

Responsibilities

• Produce PLC programming and configuration of the operator interface (HMI).
• Create validation documentation and test documentation for project/manufacturing support.
• Assist with pretesting and Facility Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Provide remote support for Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) when required.
• Remotely Assist with on-site commissioning activities, troubleshooting, and field support.
• Write instructions for Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
• Provide support for aftermarket change and upgrade requests.
