Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $67.00/hr

Developing process specifications for data collection for machines of battery production lines within the Powertrain department with support from engineers, managers, and support groups.

Supporting engineers related to machinery controls

Managing collection of PLC, Touch Screen, NC Program data for all battery machinery

Innovating solutions to improve manufacturing data collection with leadership from Sr. Engineer in controls.

Learning new processes quickly as required

Organizing and guiding cross-functional activities across company barriers with minimal management assistance.

Requirements:

Onsite role at Liberty, NC.

Travel – 25%. International travel as needed, but not planned currently. Focus on Data, PLC, Networking, Database experience.

Experience with data analytics tools like Power BI, Power Apps, C#, Python is a plus.

Project management and documentation skills

Initial MS Teams meeting – 30 minutes

Second round – In-person (45-60 minutes)

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or equivalent experience in PLC programming or networking (10+ years)
• Experience developing PLC programs from scratch (+500 lines) - not mandatory
• Experience with communication protocols (ENET, RFID, RS232/485, CC link)
• Experience with ignition programming and data transfer to servers
• Siemens controls programming experience
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
• Availability to work weekends and non-production weeks as needed
