Job summary

Burnham Holdings, Inc. seeks a Controls Engineer to design and develop new controls and improvements for our product lines at our Lancaster, PA facility.

The role emphasizes wiring diagrams, hardware/software changes, prototype development and testing, and producing manuals and drawings for production. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet performance specs and support sales with technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required; 5 years experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates and approves new and existing functional designs and cost improvements to improve the competitive position of the company.
• Develops, maintains and approves all wiring diagrams and revisions for new and existing products.
• Manages hardware and software changes as well as upgrades to existing systems.
• Procur es materials needed to construct prototypes.
• Plans and develop test programs for prototypes.
• Develops and maintains control installation and operation manuals and revisions.
• Provides sketches, markups, and directions to design-drafters and drafters to create new control display and PCB drawings.
• Creates test reports, performs tests and analyzes test results to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications.
• Analyzes, evaluates, sources, and coordinates the procurement of new controls and displays components.
• Performs technical analysis of competitive products.
• Takes initiative to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provides support to sales and marketing on control presentations and customer support.
• Use controller and display hardware and software specific applications to set up and program control systems.

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team!Designs and develops new controls and control improvements by performing the following duties.

This is a full-time position located in Lancaster, PA. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM, Friday 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM.
