Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with PLC programming, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of our automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for industrial equipment and machinery.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal performance of automation systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate control systems with mechanical components.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics and documentation for control systems.
• Implement and optimize HMI interfaces for user interaction with machinery.
• Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff on control systems.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in control system design and PLC programming.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and their integration with controls.
• Experience with HMI design and implementation.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or Draftsight.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
