Job summary

Opportunity Group, Inc. is seeking Controls Engineers with PLC programming, troubleshooting and/or controls design experience for permanent positions in the Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon and Kalamazoo areas. Opportunities range from entry-level to Lead Controls and Engineering Manager roles, with most positions requiring minimal travel.

Must be a US citizen or have a Green Card. Provide electrical solutions for automation, process, assembly, or material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree or Associate's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
• Experience programming PLCs and HMIs.
• Allen Bradley and Siemens experience preferred.
• Experience with robotics, vision systems, hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
• SCADA, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical experience also a plus.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.

Seeking Controls Engineers with PLC programming, troubleshooting and/or Controls Design experience for several permanent positions currently available in the Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon and Kalamazoo areas. All these permanent positions offer a variety of exciting projects in the controls automation industry for reputable and growing companies. Opportunities range from entry-level to Lead Controls and Engineering Manager roles. Most jobs require minimal travel.

Compensation and Benefits for the Controls Engineer positions:

• $70,000.00 to $150,000.00 / year depending on experience level
