Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka, MO is seeking a skilled Electrical/Industrial Maintenance technician to design, install, and maintain electrical control systems and sound and lighting systems throughout the park.

The role requires hands-on installation and preventive maintenance of complex electrical networks. The candidate will read schematics, program Allen-Bradley PLCs using RSLogix/Studio 5000, and manage 600V or lower distribution, VFDs, motors, and transformers.

Qualifications

• Trade school certification in Industrial electric/electronics.
• Ability to read and program Allen-Bradley PLCs via ladder logic in RSLogix/Studio 5000.
• 3+ years related industrial electrical/electronic experience.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, twist, push/pull and lift 50 lbs.
• Work at heights over 150 feet and in varied outdoor conditions; valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, install, and maintain electrical control systems throughout the park.
• Inspect and repair rides, facilities, and attractions; report safety issues.
• Install 600V or less distribution, VFDs, motors, compressors, and related equipment.
• Repair and maintain electrical systems, lighting, transformers, and circuits.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and records using IBM Maximo.
• Follow national electrical code guidelines for design and compliance.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear required PPE; complete projects as assigned.

Design, build, install, and maintain all electrical control systems, all sound reinforcement systems, theatrical lighting systems, and industrial electrical systems throughout the park.

Specific Duties and Responsibilit ies :

• Utilize PLC and Relay Logic knowledge to install, maintain , and trouble shoot electrical control systems.
• Inspect rides, facilities, and attraction s, repair and notify leadership as to any issues that could endanger guests or employees .
• Install new electrical systems as assigned . 600V or less distribution, VFD’s, Motors, compressors etc.
• Repair and maintain a variety of electrical systems, circuits, lighting , transformers etc .
• Keep a daily duty log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventive maintenance utilizing IBM Maximo system .
• Follow guidelines of the national electrical code for design, application, interpretation, and compliance of all electrical apparatus and installation.
• Adhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as required .
• Completion of projects and assignments as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Trade school certification in Industrial electric /electronics preferred.
• Ability to read and program Allen-Bradley PLC’s via ladder logic in RSLogix /Studio 5000.
• 3+ years related industrial electrical/electronic experience.
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including able to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, twist, push and pull and lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs .; must be able to reach overhead .
• Must be able to perform work functions at heights in excess of 150 ’.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays and must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
