You will plan, develop, and execute test strategies for Daikin Controls products, delivering high quality HVAC solutions and providing automated testing expertise across performance and environmental requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in testing, with experience in Agile/Azure DevOps, and knowledge of C/C++/C# coding concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience preferably in software or hardware testing.
• Working knowledge of Agile development practices and Azure DevOps.
• Working experience with software test tools and processes, building and testing frameworks, and consumer-facing applications and APIs.
• Excellent English communication skills advanced both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans, and procedures to evaluate the software performance and operation.
• Build software testing programs that automate testing processes.
• Run the software testing procedures to evaluate the software.
• Document all testing procedures.
• Report bugs and make recommendations to improve the software product.
• Collaborate with test engineers, software programmers, and other team members.
• Retest software after bugs are fixed to ensure the program works properly.
• Attend meetings with the development team, clients and other groups.

Your Responsibilities

• Create test plans, and procedures to evaluate the software performance and operation
• Build software testing programs that automate testing processes

Your Qualifications

Your Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Model based testing with Simulink
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-loop and Model-in-the-loop testing
• Good understanding of coding on C/C++ and C# programming language
• Working knowledge in analysis, design, and programming
• Working experience of scripting and configuration tools
• Experience working with international teams

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $74,200- $124,300 in Minnesota. The range displayed representsthe pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
