Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Technical Expert Controls Commissioning I to guide and support commissioning activities in industrial automation and control systems. You will work with project teams to ensure readiness, adherence to design, and timely issue resolution.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLC control, strong documentation skills, and the ability to travel up to 40% for on-site and international project support, including travel to Austria and other Europe regions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years in industrial automation or control systems.
• Experience with PLC control or subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support for commissioning protocols.
• Deliver structured technical instructions and real-time troubleshooting to commissioning teams.
• Verify and validate control systems for performance readiness and safety compliance.
• Support commissioning efforts both remotely and on-site for projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
