Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics seeks a Commissioning Engineer to contribute across multiple controls projects within the Bastian Controls department. You will be responsible for concept, network design, panel layouts, PLC/VLC programming, HMI tagging, on-site installation, debugging, and commissioning.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering degree or 1+ years of industry experience, with PLC/HMI, panel design, and AutoCAD Electrical proficiency, plus strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 1+ years’ industry experience.
• PLC and HMI experience.
• Panel design experience.
• Hands-on and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering standards.
• Follow SOPs for each project phase.
• Write Functional Spec Documents (FSDs).
• Design field device layouts.
• Design electrical schematics using ACAD Electrical.
• Develop PLC programs and supervise commissioning.
• Travel and on-site commissioning as required.
