Job summary

Hynes Industries Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to drive automation initiatives across manufacturing processes.

You will design and implement control systems, troubleshoot robotic weld cells and material handling equipment, and lead installations and commissioning with the Advanced Manufacturing Team. Ideal candidates have a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent, plus 5+ years in manufacturing settings, with strong CAD (Inventor) and PLC programming skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• +5 years in a similar role in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Work with Advanced Manufacturing Team to determine feasibility and required processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain control and automation systems.
• Lead setup and troubleshooting of automated equipment (robotic weld cells, robotic handling, tube lasers, rollformers).
• Provide Production support for all automated systems and maintain training for maintenance personnel and operators.
