Job summary

CMA/Flodyne/Hydradyne is seeking an Application Engineer for our Hanover Park, IL location. The role includes providing technical support to customers, conducting on-site programming, and engaging in pre and post-sales activities.

The successful candidate will possess a BS in Electrical Engineering or similar, with experience in motion control and industrial networking. We offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including medical and dental coverage, as well as a 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Engineering and implementations.
• Curiosity for how things work and desire to develop electro-mechanical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide inside technical support to all customers.
• Travel for pre and post-sales support including project engineering meetings.
• Size and quote motion control and industrial networking systems.
• In-house and on-site motion control and PLC programming.
• Participate in vendor training programs.

Skills

Experience with programming languages (Python, Java, C++)

Motion control knowledge

Industrial networking systems knowledge

Electro-mechanical problem-solving

Education

BS in Electrical Engineering or similar
