Job summary

ContiTech seeks a Regional Controlling CO Key user SAP S4 HANA to lead across the Americas. You will master the CO module, perform fit-to-template analyses, and coordinate tests with IT and local users. Travel up to 50% helps you address site-specific needs.

You’ll train end-users, support hyper-care, and share lessons learned to improve future implementations. A strong finance background and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field.
• 5+ years accounting/controlling with SAP CO; 10 years with degree exception.
• Understanding of operational/manufacturing finance and/or accounting.
• Highly organized, self-starter, problem-solver, able to work with others.
• Up to travel 50% of the time to support the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of SAP S4 HANA across multiple locations in the Americas.
• Become a subject matter expert in the SAP S4 HANA CO module.
• Perform fit-to-template analysis and integration tests with local CO users and IT.
• Identify local needs and address them with project teams and end-users.
• Coordinate with other SAP modules to ensure cross-process compatibility.
• Train local end-users and provide first-level end-user support.
• Support plants during the hyper-care phase after go-live.

Job Description

The Regional Controlling CO Key user SAP S4 HANA will take a leading role in the implementation of SAP S4 HANA across multiple locations in the Business Area Industrial Solutions Americas.

This can be based at any one of our locations in the US with a 3-day hybrid schedule.

• Become a subject matter expert in their SAP S4 HANA Module.

• Understand the overall business model of the locations assigned to them (Preparation and Kick Off phases).

• Perform fit-to-template analysis and integration tests with Local CO key user and IT.

• Identify local needs and work with the Project IMP@CT team and local end-users to address them.

• Work with LKU's of other SAP modules to ensure all processes interact properly.

• Interact with subject matter experts and with plant controllers to ensure functionality of specific processes.

• Train local end-users, first level of support to address end-user questions and concerns.

• Support plants during hyper-care phase after go-live.

• Identify, document, and socialize lessons learned after each implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.

• 5+ years of accounting/controlling experience with SAP CO implementation experience; 10 years of accounting/controlling experience with SAP CO implementation experience in lieu of a degree

• Understanding of operational /manufacturing finance and/or accounting

• Highly organized, multi-tasker, self-starter, problem-solver, able to work independently, fast learner, process-oriented, able to work productively with others and communicate effectively.

• Up to travel 50% of the time as needed to support the project.

Additional ways to stand out:

• Familiarity with the Continental FRM and with FIRE are highly desired.

• Some experience in SAP Fl and high-level understanding of other SAP modules are a plus.

• Experience with project planning is a plus, at least project participation.

• Operational controlling and/or cost accounting experience preferred.
