Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is offering a Summer Internship in the Controllership function in Orlando. You will gain hands-on experience with U.S.

GAAP, month-end and quarter-end close activities, reconciliations, and internal controls while developing skills in SAP and Excel. This paid internship requires you to be pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree with at least a 2.8 GPA and a transcript upon application.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree with junior status or higher.
• Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8; a transcript is required upon application.
• Enrollment at an accredited institution with a later graduation date than Aug 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial close activities.
• Prepare journal entries to record business transactions.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with capital project and fixed asset accounting activities.
• Use SAP and other financial systems to support management reporting.
• Support internal audit processes and testing procedures.
• Review transactions for policy compliance and internal controls.
• Document procedures and contribute to process improvements.
