Venteon in Detroit seeks a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage end-to-end financial processes, including reporting, payroll, invoicing, and AR/AP.

You will analyze income statements for cost savings, implement process improvements, and help develop strategies to increase profitability. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and experience with QuickBooks are required; payroll for a 24-person team is included.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for a team of 24 and handle withholding taxes and IRS/state payroll forms.
• Prepare, track, and send monthly invoices for billable hours on active jobs.
• Maintain AR & AP entries including invoices, bills, and payments in QuickBooks.
• Complete monthly & quarterly income statement analysis to determine cost savings opportunities.
• Implement process improvements.
• Recommend and implement new financial strategies to increase profitability such as investing in CDs, opening new lines of credit, and offering 401(k) benefits.

• Processing bi-weekly payroll for team of 24; paying withholding taxes; filing monthly and quarterly IRS and State payroll forms
• Preparing, tracking, and sending monthly invoices for billable hours on active jobs
• Preparing, entering, and maintaining all AR & AP entries including invoices, bills, and payments in QuickBooks
• Completing monthly & quarterly income statement analysis to determine cost savings opportunities
• Implementing process improvements
• Recommending and implementing new financial strategies to increase business functions and profitability such as investing in CDs, opening new lines of credit, and offering 401(k) benefits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks
