Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA a plus.
• Active CPA license in Wyoming or Colorado.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting and tax experience.
• Hands-on SEC reporting experience (10-Q/10-K).
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, COSO, ICFR and SOX.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred).
• Mining, construction or similar industry experience.
• Track record of process improvement and project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and finance activities and team members.
• Oversee the monthly close and journal entries, with accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
• Oversee SOX compliance including IT and entity-level controls.
• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q/10-K) and related memos.
• Coordinate XBRL tagging and external filings.
• Support Board reporting and special projects.
• Oversee budgeting and equity-related reporting.
