firstPRO, Inc is hiring a Controller to join their Center City Philadelphia team on-site. You will lead accounting across multiple entities, manage close cycles, and oversee AP/AR/Payroll.

Key responsibilities include financial reporting, tax compliance, lender reporting, and driving policy improvements. Experience with Entrata is highly valued; CPA is preferred but not required. This role reports to the CFO and collaborates with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in real estate or multifamily.
• 3–5+ years of multifamily/property management accounting experience.
• CPA preferred but not required; strong Excel and multi-entity GAAP knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Lead accounting and financial reporting across 13 multifamily entities and ~3,200 units.
• Own the monthly and year-end close processes.
• Oversee a team of 3 across AP, AR, and Payroll/HR.
• Manage reconciliations, budgeting, cash management, audits, tax compliance, and lender reporting.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Optimize Entrata use and drive automation and process improvements.
• Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership.
