Job summary

TGG Accounting in Oklahoma City’s Uptown district seeks a hands-on Controller to lead its accounting and finance function.

This ownership role sits on a small senior leadership team and requires overseeing month-end close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and compliance across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–5 years in leadership.
• Hands-on ownership of close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and compliance.
• Insurance-industry experience.
• Strong technical skills and executive presence.
• Ability to work onsite in Uptown OKC.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and financial reporting.
• Lead and develop a small accounting team.
• Oversee accounting across multiple entities and light admin tasks.
• Manage commission accounting, contracts, and related matters.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration with the PEO.
• Serve as the main contact for HR, payroll, benefits and compliance.
• Participate in leadership meetings to shape company strategy.

Onsite, Monday–Friday (potential for 1 remote day/week once established)

A well-established consulting firm in Uptown Oklahoma City is seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead its accounting and finance function. This is a true ownership role, with a seat on a small senior leadership team.

What You’ll Do

• Own month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, AP/AR, tax coordination, audits, and insurance-related compliance
• Lead and develop a small accounting and administrative team
• Oversee accounting across multiple entities, plus light administrative and facilities oversight
• Manage commission accounting, contracts, and related agency/vendor matters
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration with the company's PEO, including enrollment, eligibility, and renewals
• Serve as the main point of contact for HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance matters
• Participate in leadership meetings to help shape company strategy

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Insurance-industry experience
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–5 years in leadership
