Job summary

Kforce Inc. in Hartford, CT is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead a team of 3-4 staff, oversee month-end and year-end close, and ensure accurate reconciliations across the balance sheet, income statement, and multiple banks.

The ideal candidate will drive external audits with the CPA firm, manage discrepancies to preserve data integrity, support internal controls and process improvements, and assist with audit and tax preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 10+ years of accounting experience with current staff supervision.
• SALT Tax and Sales and Use tax exposure.
• Multi-entity accounting and reconciliation experience.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
