Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, and prepare financial statements.
• Oversee case-cost accounting, trust/IOLTA accounting, and disbursements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready records.
• Prepare recurring financial reporting for CFO and executives.
• Partner with CFO on budgeting, analysis, and process improvements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process and preparation of financial statements.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Oversee case-cost accounting, settlement disbursements, and trust/IOLTA accounting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure accurate, audit-ready financial records.
• Prepare recurring financial reporting for the CFO and executive leadership.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, financial analysis, and process improvements.
