Position Summary
The Group Controller will lead financial oversight of multiple RealTruck manufacturing sites and their respective local finance site leads. Responsibilities include guiding local financial team leaders through monthly closing processes to deliver reconciled financial statements accurately in accordance with company accounting policies and GAAP, ensuring SOX controls compliance, leading annual operating plan and monthly forecasting processes, and reviewing financial statement variance analysis to identify risks and impacts. The role collaborates with corporate and local leadership as a key business partner to champion company strategic initiatives such as productivity and cost savings through lean manufacturing activities and key performance indicators. The Group Controller will build and lead high‑performing teams, eliminating non‑value‑add activities, fostering best‑practice sharing, coaching, and career development, while chairing employee engagement activities.
Core Functions
- Ensure all local financial team leaders deliver financials reconciled and reported in accordance with company accounting policies and GAAP.
- Coach and enforce company and GAAP accounting policies.
- Lead external and internal audits, as necessary.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including full balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Enforce SOX controls compliance to company policy.
- Drive financial statement analysis, understanding, and accountability.
- Lead complex matters to resolution.
- Champion execution of planning processes in accordance with company policies for all local financial team leaders.
- Oversee coordination, execution, and monitoring of the annual operating plan.
- Provide strategic and visionary thought leadership toward the success of the annual operating plan.
- Oversee the validation and accuracy of the monthly forecasting process.
- Review variance analysis explanations, business risks, drivers, and impacts.
- Serve as strategic key business partner to senior leadership for multiple manufacturing sites.
- Proactively coach and lead financial collaboration across manufacturing lean activities; monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Serve as thought leader to the local and senior leadership team.
- Coach and strengthen lean Compass knowledge throughout the organization to ensure pace and rigor of continuous improvement productivity commitments.
- Identify and drive elimination of non‑value‑added activities through best‑practice sharing.
- Proactive communication to assess risks and areas of opportunity.
- Champion company strategic initiatives.
- Develop, establish, and monitor annual plant, department, and individual goals; lead employee performance.
- Coach and develop Finance team members’ technical and soft skillsets for continued growth and advancement.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA desired.
- 10+ years’ experience in finance/accounting, including manufacturing environment experience.
- 5+ years in a leadership role required.

Work Environment

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
