Phillips Theological Seminary seeks a Controller to lead accounting, treasury, and financial reporting. You will ensure GAAP-compliant processes, oversee endowment accounting and grants, and partner with leadership to strengthen financial stewardship.

The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer, supports annual budgets and forecasts, and leads the annual external audit. A 40-hour workweek with occasional evenings and weekends is typical.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls experience.
• Experience with annual audits, budget prep, and regulatory/tax reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.

Mansioni

• Oversee accounting and financial administration, including general ledger and endowments.
• Manage financial systems and GAAP-compliant chart of accounts.
• Coordinate annual external audit and implement audit recommendations.
• Prepare budgets and multi-year forecasts; provide dashboards and BI tools.
