Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Controller for The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. You will support accounting objectives, assist with forecasting, budgeting, labor and inventory controls, and perform analyses for multiple units.

The role requires 3–5 years in credit control, strong Excel skills, and a relevant financial qualification. You will work across departments and ensure timely receivables while maintaining documentation standards and upholding Aramark policies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in service industry with a system-driven approach to credit control.
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with Oracle System is an advantage.
• Possess a relevant or related financial qualification.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated behavior.
• Excellent phone manner is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily credit control procedures to minimize overdue debts and bad debts.
• Supervise customer accounts to ensure adherence to credit control policies.
• Meet targets set out by the Company Plan.
• Process and resolve daily customer accounts queries and issues, e.g., invoices/statements.
• Collaborate with relevant departments on credit control activities.
• Post and allocate receipts accurately and timely.
• Balance all accounts monthly.
• Maintain files and documentation to a high standard.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses of debts and report issues to AR Manager.
