Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks an accomplished finance executive to serve as Controller for Capital Markets & Brokerage, reporting to the Broker-Dealer CFO.

This role oversees accounting, financial reporting, and control environments for both introducing and self-clearing broker-dealers, partnering with executives on growth, product innovation, acquisitions, and enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead a high‑performing team, drive audit activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Extensive experience leading accounting and financial reporting within broker-dealer/capital markets.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial instruments, broker-dealer operations, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for accounting, financial reporting, and controls across broker-dealer entities.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee GAAP financial statements, regulatory reporting, and disclosures.
• Lead accounting for fixed income trading, underwriting, securities financing, advisory services, and brokerage ops.
