Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Controller/Director of Finance with a background in Architecture, Engineering or Construction. The ideal candidate brings five years of progressive experience and a proven track record in leading financial operations.

Based in Orlando, FL, this role will oversee project-based accounting, close processes, budgeting and forecasting, and GAAP-compliant reporting, partnering with senior leadership to drive profitability and strategic decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience with project-based accounting, percentage-of-completion and/or revenue recognition, work-in-progress reporting, utilization, and project profitability analysis preferred.
• Experience managing the month-end and year-end close processes and preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Demonstrated experience developing budgets, forecasts, financial models, and management reporting.
