As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Controller to join our leadership team and bring financial rigor and strategic insight to our operations.

Position Summary

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control. This role is critical in providing the financial stewardship necessary to support operations, drive efficiency, and guide strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
• Continuously improve cost accounting systems and analyze manufacturing variances
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide financial analysis to support operational and strategic goals
• Coordinate year-end audit activities and tax filings with external auditors
• Implement and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
• Collaborate with plant management to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with job costing, standard costing, and inventory management systems
• Proficient in ERP systems (experience with Syteline a plus)
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
