Job summary

Spectrum Search Group is seeking a hands-on Controller to work directly with the CEO and lead the entire accounting function in a fully remote role with rare travel. You will own the close, manage financial reporting, cash, and budgeting, and lead store-level profitability reporting for a growing multi-unit business.

You will build controls, optimize processes, and deliver actionable reports to leadership, partnering with operations and ownership on growth initiatives.

Spectrum Search is working directly with a growing multi-unit consumer business seeking a hands-on Controller to work directly with the CEO and lead the entire accounting function. This is a fully remote role with rare travel.

Responsibilities

• Own the close, financial reporting, cash management, and budgeting process
• Lead food, labor, inventory, and store-level profitability reporting
• Build controls, improve processes, and create actionable reporting for leadership
• Partner closely with operations and ownership on growth initiatives

Requirements

• Multi-unit restaurant, retail, or similar operational accounting experience
• Accounting degree required and a CPA is highly preferred
• Experience owning the close and financial statements
• Strong understanding of inventory, COGS, labor, and store-level economics
• Ability to roll up your sleeves while leading and growing a team

Depending on experience and skill set, this role pays $145k-$165k + a great bonus.
