Role Description The Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Lawrence, NY, responsible for overseeing all core accounting and financial operations for Karako Suits. This role manages the general ledger, month-end and year-end closing processes, and the preparation of management reports. The Controller monitors cash flow, budgets, and forecasts, and ensures accurate recording of inventory, sales, and expenses across multiple retail locations and online channels. This position maintains internal controls, supports audit and tax preparation, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Controller collaborates with leadership on financial analysis, cost control, and process improvements to support profitable growth and long-term business stability.
