Job summary

Coilmaster Corporation is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and support growth. You’ll manage journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, A/P review, and audit prep while partnering with the finance leader and executive team.

You will develop scalable costing, consolidate the parent company system, and lead a finance team through month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Strong FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred); ERP implementation experience is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience with consolidation systems is a bonus.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and effective communication with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Willingness to be hands-on with transactional work during system transitions or project phases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead core accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, A/P review, and audit prep.
  • Document workflows and define internal controls (Requisition-to-Payment, Order-to-Cash).
  • Support the development of a scalable, sustainable costing system.
  • Maintain parent company’s corporate consolidation system.
  • Manage and develop the accounting team.
  • Own controller-level financial reporting, balance sheet, P&L, and internal controls.
  • Partner with Finance leader to provide insights to the President and executive team.
  • Lead month-end reporting, support FP&A, and assist budgeting/forecasting.
  • Drive business support, financial strategy, and continuous improvement.
