Responsibilities

• Manage accounting department operations: billing, AR, AP, ledgers, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Maintain documented accounting policies and procedures; implement controls over transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Produce the annual budget and forecasts; report variances to management.
• Maintain integrity of monthly journal entries and close process.
• Provide financial analysis with emphasis on quotes and gross margins.
• Collaborate with all levels of the organization and with external CPA firms.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Lead benefits renewal pricing and analysis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

OEM delivers proactive supplier management solutions for the major Primes and Tier-1's across the aerospace, defense, and shipbuilding sectors. By integrating our supplier specialists directly within supply chain networks, we deliver a level of oversight and engagement that surpasses conventional methods.

Headquartered in Arizona, OEM is experiencing rapid growth and is currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The Controller will manage all aspects of the accounting and financial reporting activities.

This is a full-time position based in our Scottsdale, AZ corporate office. Pre-employment background and drug screening are required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manageall operations in the accounting department, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, cost accounting, revenue recognition
• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions
• Production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles
• Produces the annual budget and forecasts, reports variance to budget to management
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of monthly journal entries and general ledger close process
• Provides financial analysis with emphasis on customer quotes and gross margins
• Effectively collaborate with people at all levels of the organization
• Works with external CPA firm and auditors as necessary
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
• Drives annual benefits renewal pricing and analysis
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:
