Job summary

Zentech Manufacturing I is seeking a Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations for our high-reliability electronics manufacturing business. You will own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to analyze product profitability, improve margins, and support strategic bids across aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing finance leadership with GAAP expertise.
• Experience in cost accounting and budgeting for high-reliability products.
• Strong cash flow analysis and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cost accounting for a high-reliability electronics manufacturer.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual statements to leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance and audits readiness.
• Monitor costs, margins, and inventory; partner with operations to improve profitability.
• Coordinate audits, taxes, and regulatory reporting with external advisors.
• Implement ERP/ accounting systems and reporting tools.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for product line performance.
• Lead a small finance team and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain on bids and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cost accounting for a high-reliability electronics manufacturer
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to executive leadership
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support strategic and operational decisions
• Maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness
• Monitor manufacturing costs, margins, and inventory valuation; partner with operations to improve profitability
• Manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting in coordination with external advisors
• Implement and optimize ERP/accounting systems, financial processes, and reporting tools
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to track financial and operational performance for key product lines
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance and accounting team focused on accuracy and continuous improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and supply chain to support bids, pricing, and strategic projects
