Job summary

JCW Group is partnered with a leading multinational bank seeking a Controller to join their U.S. finance organization. This role owns the financial and regulatory reporting function for the bank's U.S.

operations, partnering closely with Treasury, Risk, and senior finance leadership. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with 4 days in Jersey City and exposure to regulators and auditors. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of accounting/finance experience in banking, a strong understanding

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting/finance experience within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of FBO regulatory reporting requirements and U.S. GAAP.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience in a matrixed, global organization with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting under U.S. GAAP
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, as well as regulators
• Maintain and strengthen the control environment, identifying opportunities for process improvement
• Manage and develop a team of accountants/analysts
