Job summary

ThinkingAhead Executive Search is seeking a Controller for one of Southwest Florida’s premier homebuilders and developers. This is a full-time, direct-hire role leading a full-service accounting department and partnering with the CFO on the financial management of the homebuilding entities.

You’ll focus on team leadership, monthly financial reporting, construction draws, budgeting and cash flow forecasting, with a values-driven culture and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Construction industry accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Sage 300, NetSuite, or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting team and oversee monthly financial statements.
• Prepare budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee cost-to-complete reporting and improve processes.
