ThinkingAhead is seeking a Controller for a premier Southwest Florida homebuilder and developer. This full-time, direct-hire role leads a full-service accounting department and partners with the CFO on financial management of the homebuilding entities.

Responsibilities include monthly financials, construction draws, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting, construction industry experience, proficiency with Sage 300 or NetSuite, strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Construction industry accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting team and oversee monthly financial statements.
• Manage construction draws and cash flow forecasting.
• Partner with CFO on financial management of homebuilding entities.
• Oversee budgets and cost-to-complete reporting.

We’re hiring a Controller for one of Southwest Florida’s premier homebuilders and developers. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity leading a full-service accounting department and partnering with the CFO on the financial management of the company’s homebuilding entities. The role centers on team leadership, monthly financial reporting, construction draws, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Accounting team leadership

• Cost-to-complete reporting
• Process and systems improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Construction industry accounting experience
• Working knowledge of Sage 300, NetSuite, or similar
• Strong Excel skills
• CPA preferred
